Fleuron was created during a residency at the Studios at MASS MoCA. The installation, oscillating between plant growth and urban debris, draws upon the cliche of romantic notions of ruins while referencing early botanical natural history preservation methods, and the centuries-old custom of embedding broken glass on the tops of walls to fortify a space.
